Scentsy Story
Thank you for coming to my Scentsy website! I appreciate you stopping by. I absolutely love Scentsy and would like to share with you my journey, it is so much more than my business to me.
How it all began: It was in February of 2012, just two years after welcoming baby girls #3 and #4 into our family at the same time!! Yep, you read that right, we went for baby #3 and got the blessing of Twin Girls :)) We definitely have a full house of kids!!
I really felt the desire to get back to work. I absolutely love being a Mom to my 4 beautiful girls: Allyson, Alexis, Ava and Avery but I also really enjoy working. Both of these roles give me so much joy in very different ways and I wanted to have both back in my life.
I went to school for business marketing and was working as a Marketing Manager for a telecommunications company for the last 11yrs before the twins arrived. Having four girls all aged 7 and under I knew that a traditional 9-5pm job would not fit our busy & demanding life so I looked for other opportunities where I could utilize my business background but remain at home to also support the needs of my young family. I had realized while I was off work for that extended time with the twins that I actually really enjoyed being a working Mom.
I wanted to feel that excitement of work again, help my family by contributing to the household income and really felt a drive to start my own business!!
A friend of mine was encouraging me to do a Scentsy party for her and we tried a couple times to do it but distance and bad winter weather made it too hard to do.
I then had a light bulb moment that maybe my own business could also be Scentsy. I started researching more about the Scentsy business opportunity for myself. I saw how much fun my friend was having in her Scentsy business and the financial support she was able to give her family.
After taking some time to think & hearing how much Heidi & Orville (Scentsy Owners) believe in & support their consultants I decided to GO FOR IT!!
I started my Scentsy Business on June 14th, 2012 & have not looked back. Choosing Scentsy was ABSOLUTELY the best business decision I ever made!!
I have had many wonderful moments over the years including an all expense paid trip by Scentsy to Hawaii after earning their yearly incentive trip, not even 1yr after starting, achieving Director level title just 16mths and traveling to St. Louis to be part of Scentsy’s yearly reunion for consultants!! I have so many wonderful memories in my life and so many Special, Life-Long Friendships all thanks to Scentsy!! I have been able to be a strong financial support for my family!!
My favourite part of my business is to connect with people and share my Big love for Scentsy products, the safety, joy & beauty they bring to people’s lives & homes through home parties, online parties, vendor events, fairs, fundraisers to support causes close to my clients hearts!! My other joy is helping lead my team members to reach their goals and personal/professional potential in their businesses.
I am forever changed by this company with so many amazing blessings that I have been given because of it and truly feel that this was the path I was meant to be on.
My goal is to always offer my customers and team members the very best of me & I am always striving to be the best leader I can be for my team members so they feel like my team is an extension of home for them. A place to feel comfortable, to share their goals, desires & to partner with me to let me help them become a reality.
My Scentsy Business is my passion, it holds the blessings for my very strong "Why", it brings me joy, excitement, satisfaction, a way to give back to people and organizations in my community in a way I could have never been able to do before and I hope that it will be my legacy that I leave to my girls one day, showing them all that I strived to be the best for them - a Mom and Career Woman - that they can do whatever they set their minds to!
